For fans of Lauren Kate's Fallen series comes the exciting conclusion to the trilogy that includes The Beautiful and the Cursed and The Lovely and the Lost. The Waverly sisters must save themselves before all is lost.
Since the Waverlys arrived in Paris, the streets have grown more fearsome by the day. As Ingrid learns to master her lectrux gift, she must watch Axia's power grow strong enough to extend beyond her Underneath hive. By all indications, the fallen angel's Harvest is near-and the timing couldn't be worse.
Targeted by vengeful gargoyles, Gabby has been exiled to London for her own protection. Meanwhile, the gargoyle castes are in disarray, divided between those who want Luc to lead them and those who resent him and his fondness for humans. The Alliance is crumbling from the inside as well, its members turning against one another, and possibly against the Waverlys, too.
Axia has promised that the world will burn. And now, unable to trust the Alliance, separated from Luc, Gabby, and her twin, Grayson, Ingrid is left to face the demon uprising alone.

While I would like to pretend that The Wondrous and the Wicked is not the last book in The Dispossessed series, it is the perfect ending for a series I haven't been able to get enough of. Oh my word that ending! I did not see that one coming, although I totally should have. This is the perfect ending to a fabulous series that stole my heart, and gave me everything I had hoped it would, and so much more.
You know you've read a fabulous book/series when you HAVE to have more of the story. Page Morgan had me at Gargoyles. Back when the first book in this series was out, The Beautiful and the Cursed, I devoured it. I couldn't get enough of it's historical setting, the romance, and everything else that Page gave me in that book. As The Dispossessed series has gone on (this is the third and final book in the series), my love for the series has only gotten stronger. Or maybe it could be classified as an addiction, because I always need more when each book ends.
Page has created a series with characters I love, a setting I want to crawl through the pages of her books and visit, and a romance that had me falling in love with it. It's the kind of romance that makes you sigh, and leaves you with a stupid grin while reading about. You know the kind I'm talking about. There's no shortage of action either. In essence, this series is my kind of series.
This book is everything I had hoped it be, and then some. There are so many things I want to talk about with The Wondrous and the Wicked. Instead of listing everything I love about this book, I'm going to be vague, and say that I loved it. I did. I loved everything about it. Including the ending that I had to re-read twice. Oh that ending. It is the most perfectly fitting ending. It's also an ending that wraps things up as they should be, while at the same time it makes me wish I could have just one more book in this series.
Fans of The Dispossessed series will love what Page Morgan delivers in The Wondrous and the Wicked. It has the right amount of mystery, heart achingly beautiful romance, plenty of action, and a beautiful historical setting that comes to life effortlessly. It's what I'd call a delightfully wicked read. GO PICK UP THIS BOOK!
